Re. Magnesium Phosphate. I've been asked a few questions, some of which I didn't know the answers to so have done a little research and the following is the result. Magnesium Phosphorica is made from Magnesium Phosphate. It comes in strength 12x but it's up to the homeopath how many tabs they prescribe for you. I simply walked into the health-food shop and asked for it and they recommend 2 tabs x 3 times daily - dissolve under tongue. My research tells me Mag Phos has rather a lot of uses but some of those mentioned are: anti-spasm, pain (especially nerve pain), to aid sleep and cramps. On one or two sites they mention it helping some RLS sufferers. It works for me. I do hope this information will be of use to someone.

What is 12x strength in milligrams as looking at my Magnesium caplets nutritional information each one contains 250mg which is 67% rda and it can be dangerous to have too much?

I actually checked this with the makers as on my label it just says 12x - they tell me it's the measurement of the strength of magnesium and they have been providing many health food shops for years. My local one tells me the prescribed dosage is up to 2 tabs x 3 times daily. If necessary you can consult a homeopath who will make their own recommendation based on the individual.

Thanks courtland14 but I am a worried about products that do not follow the conventional labeling of %RDA and I thought that it was now illegal not to do so as over dosing can cause a lot of trouble ie to the kidneys and liver.
